Teams in Group H
🇪🇸Spain(UEFA)
2010 World Cup champions and 2024 European champions, Spain have rediscovered their iconic passing style under their current setup. La Roja are one of the tournament's strongest favourites, combining technical brilliance with tactical intelligence across a squad full of elite club talent.
🇨🇻Cape Verde(CAF)
Cape Verde make a historic World Cup debut after qualifying through the CAF competition. The Blue Sharks from the small Atlantic island archipelago are one of football's great underdog stories, and their debut will be celebrated across the continent and beyond.

Two-time World Cup champions (1930, 1950) and fourth-place finishers in 2010, Uruguay are perennial South American heavyweights. La Celeste are known for their combative, resilient style and have consistently produced world-class attackers over multiple generations.

How Group H Qualification Works
The top two teams from Group H advance directly to the Round of 32 of the FIFA World Cup 2026 knockout stage. The third-place team is not automatically eliminated — the 8 best third-place finishers from all 12 groups also advance, ranked by points, goal difference, and goals scored. The fourth-place team is eliminated from the tournament.
In the event of a tie on points, FIFA applies the following tiebreakers in order: goal difference, goals scored, head-to-head points, head-to-head goal difference, and head-to-head goals scored. This simulator applies all official FIFA tiebreaker rules automatically as you enter match scores.
